This notice covers the Secret Satoshis websites at secretsatoshis.com, dashboard.secretsatoshis.com, charts.secretsatoshis.com, and agent21.secretsatoshis.com. Public research and dashboards can be explored without an account. The Agent 21 invited beta requires an account.
Information this website collects
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to public website pages, including traffic sources, pages viewed, and browser and device information. Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits, except for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, whose visits are measured without analytics cookies. Google signals, advertising storage, and advertising personalization are disabled in our product-site tags. We do not send newsletter email addresses or Agent 21 conversation content to Google Analytics. Agent 21 analytics is limited to its public landing page and beta waitlist page.
Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy. You can block analytics through your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Agent 21 also uses account and session cookies to authenticate invited users. Hosting providers may process standard request information—such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time—to deliver and secure the sites.
Newsletter subscriptions
The newsletter form sends the email address you enter directly to Secret Satoshis on Substack. Secret Satoshis does not receive or store that form submission through this website. Substack processes subscriptions under its own terms and privacy policy.
Public data and external services
The site reads public Bitcoin data from the Secret Satoshis public repositories on GitHub. On the homepage, the outlook tracker also reads Bitcoin's current price from the Bitcoin Research Kit (BRK, at bitview.space), directly from your browser, so BRK receives standard request information such as your IP address. The site links to external services including GitHub, Substack, LinkedIn, and X. Those services may collect information under their own policies when you visit them.
Sale or sharing of personal information
Secret Satoshis does not sell personal information collected through this website. The site does not use chat content to build advertising profiles.
Agent 21 accounts and conversations
Clerk manages sign-in, email verification, and account security. We associate your Clerk user identifier with beta access, conversations, files, and usage limits. OpenAI processes your messages, relevant history, research, tool results, and uploaded files to generate responses, and stores each conversation's messages and responses so follow-ups keep their context. When you choose a Claude model, Anthropic processes the same information for that answer instead; Anthropic keeps no conversation for Agent 21, so Agent 21 stores the conversation in Neon and sends it with each request. When you choose a Gemini model (offered to selected accounts), Vercel AI Gateway passes the same information, including attached PDFs and images, to Google to generate that answer, with training on prompts disabled; Agent 21 keeps the answer's working transcript in Neon. When you choose DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (also offered to selected accounts), the Gateway passes that information to Baseten, Together AI or Parasail, US hosts that run the open model without retaining prompts or training on them; attached PDFs are read inside the analysis Sandbox rather than sent to the model. Web searches for these models go through the Gateway to Parallel, and custom analysis runs in a temporary Vercel Sandbox, described below.
Neon Postgres stores your chat history, conversation titles, archive status, feedback, and, for conversations with a Claude model, the conversation as Claude receives it, including tool results, along with ownership, provider identifiers, run status, file records, diagnostics, and deletion jobs. It also stores temporary message-submission payloads and response snapshots used for recovery and duplicate prevention; these operational records can contain user-related content. Message-submission payloads are cleared when a run settles, and response snapshots are removed through conversation or account cleanup. Private Vercel Blob storage retains your uploads, charts, and other generated files. Vercel hosts the application and runs its background jobs. These processors may retain request and security logs under their own policies. Their authorized administrators, and the Secret Satoshis administrator, may access stored content for support, operations, and abuse investigation; chats are not end-to-end encrypted.
Files, tools, and retention
Conversations and retained files remain until you delete them, both in Agent 21 and in the conversation OpenAI stores for it. Most answers use Agent 21's own data tools, which download public data on Agent 21's servers: Bitcoin series and network data from the Bitcoin Research Kit (BRK, at bitview.space), Polymarket markets, and Secret Satoshis datasets, charts, and newsletter posts. When you upload a file other than CSV or text, or ask for a file such as a CSV or PDF, Agent 21 also opens a temporary OpenAI analysis workspace and copies the conversation's uploads into it. The workspace can download only from those public sources and expires about 20 minutes after its last activity; its expiration does not delete retained conversations or files. Agent 21 reads Secret Satoshis code on GitHub through GitHub's read-only data service, and finds current news with OpenAI's hosted web search, or Anthropic's when you use a Claude model. For Claude models, the analysis workspace runs at Anthropic and has no internet: Agent 21 downloads the public data it needs from the same sources and copies it there, together with the conversation's uploads, and a PDF you attach is copied to Anthropic's file storage so Claude can read it. Anthropic keeps a workspace up to 30 days after it is created. For Gemini and DeepSeek models, analysis runs in a Vercel Sandbox created for that one answer: it receives the conversation's files, installs its analysis packages, can then download only from the public sources above, and is deleted when the answer finishes. Files copied for Claude stay in Anthropic's file storage while the conversation's Claude history refers to them, and are deleted when you delete the conversation, edit or regenerate a message, or delete the file. Agent 21 is instructed to send only what an answer needs, such as a search topic, a data series, a date range, or a Bitcoin address or transaction identifier you ask about, and never your messages or files. A requested address or transaction identifier is sent to BRK. Do not upload passwords, wallet seed phrases, private keys, or information you do not want these processors to handle.
Deleting Agent 21 data
Deleting an individual file removes it from Blob storage, OpenAI, and Anthropic and ends any analysis workspace it was copied into, so later answers use a new workspace without it. Because any model's history may contain the file's content, such as an image or an excerpt a tool read, every model's history for that conversation starts over from the saved chat: the conversation and responses OpenAI stored, the Claude conversation stored in Neon, and Gemini and DeepSeek working transcripts are deleted. It does not remove previous answer text or other retained outputs. Use the conversation menu to delete a conversation and its files, or the account controls to request deletion of all Agent 21 data. Deletion immediately hides conversations and blocks further work. A background job then removes chat history, the conversation and its responses at OpenAI, the Claude conversation and Gemini and DeepSeek working transcripts stored in Neon, analysis workspaces and uploaded files, including copies at Anthropic, Blob objects, and operational mappings; incomplete cleanup is retried and its status is available in the app. Account removal through Clerk also triggers cleanup through its signed webhook. A deletion receipt containing operational account and job identifiers, but no conversation content may remain for operational verification.
Application deletion does not override a processor's legally required or security-log retention. OpenAI API data handling is governed by its API data controls, and Anthropic's by its privacy policy and commercial terms. Gemini requests are governed by Google's privacy policy and Vercel's AI Gateway terms; DeepSeek requests by the policies of Baseten, Together AI and Parasail, and the same Gateway terms. Review the policies of Clerk, Neon, and Vercel for their services.
Beta usage
Invited users pay nothing during beta. Secret Satoshis pays the provider charges. Each account runs one response at a time, has file-size and storage limits, and has a usage allowance; the app shows your estimated usage against it. To enforce the allowance, Agent 21 keeps a usage record for each account: token counts, web searches, analysis workspaces used, and estimated cost, never message content. The record stays when you delete conversations or your Agent 21 data, so the allowance cannot be reset that way, and is removed when you delete your Clerk account.
Policy updates
